I have had the car for about 13 years and have done some improvements to the car during that time. I have had the bumpers chromed, restored the front grill and rear tail panel, installed new taillight lens, new wheel well moldings, new front inner and outer tie rods and sleeves, new clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing. The engine runs great and it shifts fine. The interior is all original in excellent condition with the swivel tachometer on the console and it is a factory radio delete car. I have driven this car way more than my other collectibles over the years due to its enjoyment and wow factor. I bought the car with 425 miles in june of 2007 and have the papers. It is finished in the rare color of viper slate crystal pearl. The exterior has the usual wear and tear these cars get when used, stone chips on the rocker panels and scrapes under the front bumper from dips in the roads and pulling up too close in parking spaces. The wheels are the desireable 5 spoke polished aluminum and are in very good condition as well. The tires will need to be replaced in about a couple thousand miles. Comoptions:description:here's the story about the car: i have had the car over 20 years. Mybusiness partner and myself have both loved mopars since we were teenagers. (along time ago!) when i bought itthe person who sold it to me had started fixingit up. It had already been re-painted by them. (i believe it might have beenoriginally a light yellow.) the440 had already been installed too. This car wasoriginally a small block (318). They also put the r/t stripes on the car. 1971challenger convertibles never were r/t's nor did they come with a 440. Another odd thing came with the car back then. It had a 4 point roll bar weldedinto the floor behind the front seats. I didn't get much info about the pasthistory from the seller but they did mention that it had been "raced" a little. Judging from the 440 and the shift kit in theauto transmission, i'm notsurprised the roll bar was there. One of the first things i did was to have theroll bar removed. (safety yes, but it looks much better without.).

Navigation radio, factory air conditioning, i have replaced the stick with a low short throw viper stick. This vehicle comes with the manual books, two viper keys with remote, viper cover, and viper mats. This vehicle is in perfect stock condition with no modifications at all. The wheels are in good condition the chrome "h" wheel is easy to keep clean. I am the 3rd owner and purchased it from the second owner in the fall of 2016 who purchased it from the original owner in august of 2015. The original owner was a record producer that had a number of cars, hence the low mileage. The car spent its entire life in florida (south beach and tampa). I love the car but i am selling it because i am trying to pay off some debt. The car has a clean title with no accidents. The first generation viper was designed with an eye on weight reduction and was styled with the intent that it would be stored inside. That translates to no permanent roof or glass windows and the absence of exterior door handles. The v10 motor was made bulletproof and these engines were meant to go 100,000 miles with only synthetic oil for maintenance. The spartan look is the look most natural to this viper but the car does come with the soft top, drop in windows and the removable rear glass window. All that equipment was properly stored and is excellent condition. Freshly serviced, $1500 of new tires were just put on. Zr rated michelin pilot sports, freshly detailed and buffed.
