1950 Ford CLUB COUPE WOW! Look at the Patina on this original paint Club Coupe. This car is Farm Fresh from a wheat field in Moscow Idaho. The patina has taken decades to look this way! The body on the coupe is very solid and mostly original. The driverside floor pan and rocker has been reworked as well as a portion of the trunk. The frame is solid show no signs of rot nice and dry. Someone started filling in the holes for the side trim years ago and thats were they stopped. We do have all of the side trim for the car. My self I like the way it looks as is. The Coupe sports a freshly Rebuilt Henry Ford tried and true 8BA Flat Head V8! Sporting an offenhauser intake with duel stromberg 97's and mallory duel point ignition! Less than 300 miles. The 3 speed manual trans shift smooth and has new seals and a clutch. Only a V8 ford flatty with duel exhaust sound the way this car does. The car runs cool with a new waterpump and radiator. The brake system from the master cylinders to the wheel cylinders and shoes have been rebuilt. The car is a driver. Headlights and taillights and brake lights work. The Coupe rolls on original wheels wrapped with USA Royal 800 7.10-15"s Wide White Wall tires. I can be reached at 208-Two-five-0-4454.

I purchased this car completed by a hot rod association in canada back in 2012. I was told it was built for the president's son as a graduation gift. It had 3200 miles on it at the time of purchase. It has been trouble free the whole time i have owned it with exception to the new interstate battery installed last year. I have had many great times and compliments on this car. I am a 50 year old guy who has used it as a leisure vehicle on random sunday nights. I have never raced or abuse the car. It does have some minor rock chipping from normal use. The chips are mostly around rear wheel wells. I would estimate around 10-15 tiny chips. I do have the paint code if it important to the new owner. I just purchased a new jeep rubicon and that is my new summer toy. My reserve is low and it is priced to sell. Please don't ask what it takes to buy. AM/FM

Seller's comments and description: excellent condition & perfect for tailgating. Wood is solid, mostly original and has a great patina. The body is also solid with no rust. The car has a radio, heater, clock, and columbia 2-speed rear end which all work as henry intended. The finish is black with correct tacoma cream wheel pin-striping. Interior is brown vinyl on all three seats, as original. It also has the correct chrome strip between dash and front window garnish moldings, often missing on these cars.

I say extremely rare as they only built 2,920 super deluxe convertibles in 1942, the last and best year of pre-war production !! Ford halted production on february 10, 1942 to begin production of b-24 liberator bomber aircraft, but not before a very short run of 1942 passenger cars and trucks were built. We have been asked to sell this super deluxe by the family who is handling the estate of the local idaho owner who recently passed away. This is a nice - dry - solid - idaho high mountain desert - western car and it shows ! I drove this car as my daily driver for the last several days and it runs and drives very well! This super deluxe is a sweet driver in town and cruises down the freeway at 55+ mph easily and smoothly. This is a quality classic car that is ready to drive, show and enjoy!   at the heart of this rare beauty is what appears to be the strong !! - original - rebuilt - 221 cid flathead v8 motor that is running very well indeed. The motor also still retains it's original style "59a-b" heads, original intake manifold, original exhaust manifolds, original "oil bath" air cleaner housing, original style carburetor and the original style engine coolant hoses. Sounds great too with the new factory style exhaust system. The engine is backed by a smooth - rebuilt - three speed - column shift manual transmission that also functions very well !! All of the black rubber weatherstripping is soft, supple & in new condition. Showing only a few very small chips and imperfections that have been touched up and is still bright and shiny and looks stunning !! This super deluxe also comes nicely equipped including factory power wipers, factory pop-up front air vent, factory manual choke and throttle knobs, factory "bolt lock" locking steering column, original heater and defroster, original chrome rear view mirror, factory gauge clusters with 100 mph speedometer (the fuel gauge has quit working), original clock which is no longer working, good glass, original driver's side view exterior mirror, original ford am radio which is no longer working, working front and rear turn signal indicators and an electric auxiliary fuel pump. There are not many of these beauties left on the roads for sure! The suspension and drive line all seem to be in good working order as well as the electrical system. All of the original chrome and stainless steel exterior body trim and moldings are in very nice condition including very nice original chrome front and rear bumpers, very nice original chrome front and rear bumper guards, very nice original badging and a very nice original chrome front grill and headlight surrounds. Take a look at the awesome original matching steel wheels with correct ford chrome center caps and stainless steel beauty rings wrapped in nearly new correct coker wide whitewall bias ply tires, boy does this combination look outstanding on this super deluxe and really give it that clean - "factory original" look !! The clean - solid trunk also sports a very nice original black rubber liner and a full size wide whitewall spare tire. This super deluxe is a good investment opportunity and it is priced right! This vehicle is in nice mechanical condition and it runs and drives very well. I looked underneath and also included photos.
